Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use Rizes Hub.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using Rizes Hub ("the site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the site. These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

2. Who can use Rizes Hub

Rizes Hub is a language-learning resource intended for general use, including by students studying Greek as part of school programs like the HSC or VCE. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, we encourage a parent or guardian to be aware of and involved in your use of the site, particularly regarding account creation.

3. Accounts

  • You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, and to keep it up to date.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently, or that have been inactive for an extended period.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Contact page.

4. Acceptable use

When using Rizes Hub, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, other users' accounts, or the underlying systems and databases.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content at scale without our prior written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through account registration, the contact form, or any other input on the site.
  • Use the site to transmit spam, malware, or any other harmful or unlawful content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's operation, including attempting to bypass rate limits or security measures.

5. Content on Rizes Hub

The guides, dictionary entries, exam information, and other educational content on Rizes Hub are provided for general informational and educational purposes. While we take care to keep this content accurate and up to date — particularly around exam requirements, visa rules, and other official processes, which we source from official bodies where possible — rules and requirements can change, and the relevant official body (a government department, an exam board, an educational institution) is always the authoritative source, not this site. We recommend confirming any time-sensitive or high-stakes information directly with the relevant official source before relying on it.

6. Intellectual property

The text, design, and original content on Rizes Hub are owned by Rizes Hub or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the site's content for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the site's content elsewhere without our prior written permission.

7. User-generated content

If the site allows you to submit content (for example, a message through the contact form), you retain ownership of that content, but you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose it was submitted for (for example, responding to your enquiry). You're responsible for ensuring anything you submit doesn't infringe on the rights of others or violate any law.

8. Third-party links and services

Rizes Hub links to a number of official third-party resources — government departments, universities, and organisations such as the Centre for the Greek Language, NESA, VCAA, and NAATI. We don't control these external sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Links are provided for your convenience and don't imply endorsement in either direction.

9. Disclaimers

Rizes Hub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the site and its content, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Rizes Hub is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, immigration, financial, or educational advice specific to your circumstances — for decisions like visa applications, citizenship claims, or formal exam enrolment, consult the relevant official body or a qualified professional.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rizes Hub and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including reliance on any information provided here that turns out to be outdated or inaccurate.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the site's features, or the law. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law in your jurisdiction.
